Our cake mixes work best if all dry ingredients are uniformly blended together before adding the oil, eggs and milk, so make sure the brown sugar is nice and soft before mixing!

Satisfy your sweet tooth
Add a cup of sugar to satisfy a sweet tooth; or better yet, add one cup of pitted dates soaked overnight in apple juice, then thoroughly mashed, to the recipe for natural sweetness and ultra moist cake.

Low-fat Cream Cheese Icing
Strain a cup of plain organic yogurt overnight (minimum 24 hours recommended)
add 1/2 cup of icing sugar
add food coloring to suit your occasion (optional)
add 1 tsp vanilla or almond extra (optional)
